the weather has been dreary lately
either too hot or too cold
never the right temperature
for my parents to let me out of the house for a while
is it the weather or is it you who is stopping me
from wandering around in the world doing as I please
let me sweat, let me shiver
let me go crazy while the wind tousles my clothes
for I wish to see the world
